Peaches & Prosecco Margarita

My Strawberry Champagne Margarita was such a hit over Valentine’s Day that I couldn’t wait to make a peach version for summer! Though with this rain in NYC it definitely doesn’t feel like summer yet!

Peaches are finally starting to show up in stores, but you can make this with frozen peaches if you haven’t been able to find fresh yet. Just let them thaw out first!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 oz tequila

  • 2 oz peach nectar

  • 1 oz orange liqueur

  • 1/2 oz lime juice

  • 1/2 oz agave

  • Prosecco

METHOD:

Combine tequila, peach puree, orange liqueur, lime juice and agave in cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake until chilled.

Strain into glass filled with ice.

Top with Prosecco and garnish with a peach slice.

Peach Nectar:
Combine 1 cup peaches (peeled) and 1/2 cup water in blender. Blend until smooth. Double strain, and it’s ready to use.

TIP: you can sub the orange liqueur for peach schnapps to really amp up the peach factor!
