Campfire Mule

Am I the only one here who doesn’t like marshmallows?

I blame playing chubby bunnies as a kid! But despite not being a huge fan of uncooked marshmallows, I do still love s’mores!

Anyway, today is National S’mores Day and this is my roundabout way of telling you that I’m celebrating with a Campfire Mule. No, it’s not technically a s’mores drink. But does anything else scream s’mores like sitting around a campfire or a bonfire on a summer night?

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 oz bourbon

  • 1/2 oz lime juice

  • 1/4 oz maple syrup

  • Ginger beer

METHOD:

Add bourbon, lime juice and maple syrup to a cocktail shaker. Add ice, then shake until chilled.

Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice, then top with ginger beer.

Garnish with two large marshmallows on a cocktail pick. Hit them with a little fire, and enjoy!
