Spring Gimlet

Watch the recipe video on Instagram.

The gimlet has always been one of my favorite and go-to classic cocktails, so I had to give it a little update for spring! You guys are going to want to try this one.

Don’t like gin? No problem! Just sub for vodka. Gimlets are made either way!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 oz gin, or vodka

  • 1 oz elderflower liqueur

  • 1 oz lime juice

  • 1/2 oz simple syrup

  • 2-3 cucumber slices

METHOD:

Add cucumber, lime juice and simple syrup to cocktail shaker. Muddle until cucumber is broken down.

Add gin (or vodka), elderflower liqueur and ice. Shake until chilled.

Strain into chilled coupe glass. I garnished mine with a cucumber slice and some artificial baby’s breath flowers, because fresh baby’s breath is toxic to humans and could give you some tummy troubles.
