Spot of Tea

Care for a spot of tea? When I interned in London, my boss taught me how to make a proper cup of tea. In her book, that means adding milk. And who am I to have told her otherwise?
This one’s for you, Lucy!
This cocktail is also sentimental to me because this is the first time I’ve used my Nana’s china since she passed. It only felt right to break it out for this one!
INGREDIENTS:
3 oz earl grey tea, cooled
2 oz gin
1/2 oz simple syrup
3/4 oz milk of your choice
METHOD:
Combine ingredients in a shaker cup, then add ice. Shake until chilled.
Strain into tea cup, or your favorite teacup or rocks glass.
