Red Velvet Espresso Martini
Watch the recipe video on Instagram.
I’ve been wanting to make a red velvet espresso martini for months but kept waiting until Bailey’s brought back their red velvet flavor for Valentine’s Day. That didn’t happen this year, so I took matters into my own hands! This turned out to be everything I wanted and more.
INGREDIENTS:
2 oz espresso, chilled
2 oz vanilla vodka
1.5 oz white chocolate liqueur
1/2 oz Irish cream
1/2 oz grenadine
1/2 tsp cocoa powder
METHOD:
Brew espresso, allowing to completely cool before making your martini.
Using a knife, carefully spread some cream cheese frosting around the rim of your martini or coupe glass. Roll glass onto plate with heart sprinkles. Place glass in the freezer to set.
Add chilled espresso, vanilla vodka, white chocolate liqueur, Irish cream, grenadine and cocoa powder to a cocktail shaker. Add ice, then shake until chilled.
Strain into prepped martini glass. Garnish with 3 espresso beans, and enjoy!
