Peach & Honey Whiskey Smash

I feel like we blinked and Mother’s Day is already right around the corner! This year, I’m not just toasting with bubbly— I’m also breaking out the whiskey to celebrate!

This Peach & Honey Whiskey Smash is the perfect sipper if Mom likes herself some whiskey. It’s got just the right amount of sweetness. I think you’re gonna love it!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 oz whiskey

  • 2 oz peach puree

  • 1/2 oz lemon juice

  • 1/2 oz honey syrup

  • 3 fresh mint leaves

  • Ginger beer

METHOD:

Add mint, lemon juice and honey syrup to a cocktail shaker. Give the mint a little smack before adding, then gently muddle together.

Add whiskey, peach puree and ice. Shake until chilled.

Strain into chilled glass filled with ice. Top with ginger beer, and enjoy!

Peach Puree:

Blend 1/2 cup peaches with 1 cup water. If you can’t find fresh peaches yet, no worries - you can use frozen. That’s what I did!

Honey Syrup:

Combine 1/2 cup honey and 1/2 water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until honey dissolves. Allow to cool, then transfer into an airtight container.
