Lemon Poppy Seed Drop

Putting a fun spin on the lemon drop because IT’S COOPER’S BIRTHDAY!! I almost made a bourbon drink to celebrate, but we’ve been seriously obsessed with all things lemon poppy seed lately!
Ok you caught me. It’s a classic lemon drop, but with a poppy seed rim. 10/10 recommend!
INGREDIENTS:
2 oz vodka
1 oz lemon juice
1/2 oz orange liqueur
3/4 oz simple syrup
METHOD:
Dip rim of coupe or martini glass into simple syrup, then into poppy seeds. Place prepped glass in the freezer to set.
Add vodka, orange liqueur, lemon juice and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker. Add ice, then shake until chilled.
Strain into prepped glass, and enjoy!
