Who’s excited for the House of the Dragon finale on Sunday?!

I was inspired to make this “House Targar-agon” cocktail because whenever I hear Targaryen, I think of tarragon. But it was harder to come up with a name combining the two than I thought it’d be! Shoutout to my girl Sarah for the assist!

But also… how is it already the finale?! We’re firmly Team Black in this house - what about you?

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 oz gin

  • 1/3 cup blackberries

  • 1/2 oz lime juice

  • 3/4 oz tarragon syrup

METHOD:

Add blackberries, lime juice and tarragon syrup to a cocktail shaker. Muddle until the berries have broken down.

Add gin, then ice, and shake until chilled. Double strain into a Nick & Nora glass.

Garnish with a lime wheel. Add a little high proof alcohol, then light it up!

Tarragon Syrup:

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 1/2 tsp dried tarragon OR 2-3 tarragon stems

Add sugar and water to a small saucepan over medium heat. Once the sugar has dissolved, remove from heat and add the tarragon. Steep for 10-15 minutes, then strain syrup from the tarragon. Store in the fridge in an airtight container.
