Hot Dog Old Fashioned

Watch the recipe video on Instagram.

No hot dog water was used in the making of this cocktail, I promise!

This is an absolute MUST for the 4th of July, because you just can’t have the 4th of July without a hot dog.

I infused my bourbon with some Lit’l Smokies (does that make anyone else think of Li’l Sebastian?!) and all I’m gonna say is - don’t knock it til you try it!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 oz hot dog-infused bourbon

  • 2-3 dashes celery bitters

  • 1/2 oz demerara syrup

METHOD:

To a mixing glass, combine ingredients over a large ice cube.

Stir until chilled.

Strain into rocks glass with another large ice cube.

Garnish with another mini hot dog, and enjoy!

Hot Dog-Infused Bourbon:

In an airtight container, combine 8-10 cooked mini hot dogs with 1 cup bourbon. Place in the fridge for 2+ days. Give it a shake once a day. Strain when you’re ready to use it!
