Kicking off February the best way I know how! You guys asked for a champagne-based drink so I’m sharing one of my favorites: the French 77. It’s similar to a French 75 but features elderflower liqueur instead of gin.
INGREDIENTS:
1 oz elderflower liqueur
1/2 oz lemon juice
1/2 oz simple syrup
Champagne
METHOD:
Add elderflower liqueur, lemon juice and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker. Add ice, then shake until chilled.
Strain into a flute or coupe glass. Top with champagne, and enjoy!
