The Amsterdam

Gin

I am so beyond thrilled to be in Europe with Cooper to celebrate our anniversary and both of our (belated) birthdays! I’m also excited to kick off a week of themed drinks to go along with our travel.

Starting with our current city- Amsterdam! This cocktail is worthy of its namesake. If you don’t like gin, I bet it would be tasty with tequila— though I haven’t tried that myself.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1.5 oz gin

  • 3/4 oz orange liqueur

  • 3/4 oz orange juice, freshly squeezed

  • 2 dashes orange bitters

METHOD:

Add gin, orange liqueur, orange juice and orange bitters to a cocktail shaker. Add ice, then shake until chilled.

Strain into chilled Nick & Nora glass. I garnished mine with a dehydrated orange wheel.
