Strawberry Syrup
When it comes to syrup, it really is quite simple to make them at home! You guys have asked so many times for the recipe for my strawberry syrup that I’ve used in a ton of recipes, so I thought I’d do a dedicated post on it!
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup strawberries, halved
METHOD:
Combine ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir occasionally until sugar dissolves.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and allow to cool completely.
Once cool, strain syrup into an airtight container and store in the fridge.
You can use this same ingredient breakdown for any type of syrup- raspberry, etc. Syrup should last for up to 4 weeks!
Enjoy!
Cheers,
Danica
