Have you ever had an espresso martini made with rum? Today is National Rum Day so I thought this would be the perfect time to try it out, and it surely won’t be my last!

This Espresso Mar-tiki has a little more depth to it since vodka doesn’t have a ton of flavor. I love me a classic espresso martini, but it’s nice to change it up 🤭

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 oz white rum

  • 2 oz espresso, cooled

  • 3/4 oz coffee liqueur

  • 1/2 oz Irish cream

  • 1/2 oz simple syrup

METHOD:

Brew your espresso, allowing to completely cool.

Add cooled espresso, white rum, coffee liqueur, Irish cream and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker.

Add ice, then shake until chilled.

Strain into coupe or martini glass.

Garnish with 3 espresso beans and pineapple fronds to really give it that tiki feel!
