You guys loved my Cantaloupe Mule last month so I’m back with another delicious cantaloupe cocktail!
This Cantaloupe Ginger Paloma is out of this world! The ginger pairs so perfectly with the cantaloupe, giving the sweetness a little zing that you’re going to love.
INGREDIENTS:
2 oz tequila
2 oz cantaloupe juice
1 oz grapefruit juice
1/2 oz lime juice
1/2 oz ginger syrup
Soda water
METHOD:
Brush the side of your glass with agave, then roll it in sea salt mixed with some orange edible glitter. Place your glass in the freezer to set.
Add tequila, cantaloupe juice, grapefruit juice, lime juice and ginger syrup to a cocktail shaker. Add ice, then shake until chilled.
Strain into your prepped, chilled glass filled with ice. Top with soda water, and enjoy!
Cantaloupe Juice:
In a blender, combine 1 cup cantaloupe with 1/2 cup water. Blend until smooth. Strain, and you’re good to go!
Ginger Syrup:
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup ginger, peeled and chopped
Combine ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir occasionally until sugar dissolves.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and allow to cool completely.
Once cool, strain syrup into an airtight container and store in the fridge.
