Blueberry Cobbler

To me, summer BBQs are all about two things — summer salads and dessert. And Blueberry Cobbler is high up on my list of favorite summer desserts!
I’ve been wanting to do a cocktail riff on this delicious dessert for a while, and it truly did not disappoint! It’s perfect for your Memorial Day cookout today.
INGREDIENTS:
2 oz vanilla vodka
1/3 cup blueberries
1/2 oz lemon juice
1/2 oz orange juice
1/2 oz demerara syrup
METHOD:
Brush side of glass with agave, then roll in brown sugar. Pop the glass into the freezer to set while you make your cocktail!
Add blueberries, lemon juice and orange juice to a cocktail shaker. Muddle until berries are broken down.
Add vanilla vodka and demerara syrup. Add ice and shake until chilled.
Double strain into glass filled with ice. Garnish with blueberries, and enjoy.
Demerara Syrup:
1 cup demerara sugar
1/2 cup water
Combine demerara sugar and water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir occasionally until sugar dissolves.
Remove from heat and slow syrup to cool.
Once cool, strain syrup into an airtight container and store in the fridge.
